In Magnetic disk storage Information is store in magnetic plates using magnitisum. There is also involve some mechanical techniques like rotation of plates and the movement of head. This leads to a little slow movement of data. In digital Disk storage data is store in memory chips. These are small in size so easy portable. Because there is no mechanical steps are involved so there are sppedy and have long life.

The question is a touch vague and so is the answer above. All data is stored digitally on magnetic hard drives, on optical DVD's and on flash memory cards. Not sure what you mean by digital disk storage is the problem. Depending on what you mean my answer might be there is NO difference. Please elaborate.
