Answer Question

When we found a defect we send report to the developers by using defect profile and assign status as a new bug. If developer accept the bug then they assign status 'open,' depends upon resolution type. If they reject the bug then they assign status 'reject'. If they accept the bug but postponable for feature reference due to low severity and low priority then they assign status as 'deferred'. It can be resolved in the next version of the application build. So it can be closed or reopened dependence of the build.
