Solve 3x^2+19x-14=0 Using The Quadratic Formula?

Answer Question

1 Answer - Sort by: Date | Rating

    3x2+19x-14=0

    where, a = 3, b = 19 and c = -14

    Quadratic formula is as follows:

    x = -b + b^2 - 4ac
                  2a

    x = -19 +19^2 - 4*3(-14)
                    2*3

    x = -19 +38 + 168
                6
    x = -19 +206
                6
    Therefore, solution set is {-19 +206 , -19 -206}
                                                 6                  6
