How Do You Knit A Belt?

Answer Question

1 Answer - Sort by: Date | Rating

Here is a technique to stitch a fringed knit belt. In this method you need skein Opal sock year (colour of your choice) in two different colour shades. A pair of knitting needles and D rings which are two inches in size are also needed. The size of the belt is calculated to be around forty two inches. You also need to set aside a few pieces of yarn measuring around a dozen inches each for the fringe. Start knitting Row One K2 P2 till end of row and Row Two as P2 K2 till end of row. The rows have to continue till forty two inches in length and bind the end off. At one end attach the fringe and in each strand of the fringe add beads. Make sure that the string between the beads is knotted to keep them in place. On the Other end fold the belt through the D ring and stitch in place.
