Many dogs suffer from "Dermoid Sinus". This is a skin disease that causes lumps on dorsal area of pets. Allergy is another problem that dogs suffer from. You need to keep an eye on your dog. Take your dog to vet.
If it has liquid in that lump, it can be abscess. This occurs due to insect bite. Get some anti-biotic medicine to cure this problem. try to clean that lump and let it get dry so that it can heal quickly.
