Staffie, staffie, staffie. They're beautiful, active and love their families unendingly. They don't wound easily and it takes a lot to get them angry. The Staffie also needs attention and to be active so having kids around to play ball with the dog would help.

I would suggest you read up on different types of dogs that are right for you. I have 2 Rottweilers They are VERY protective over my husband & I. At the same time they love my grand kids ages 3-16 My male weighs 120 lbs. & still growing. My female goes about 90 lbs. They might not be right for you, that's why I suggested researching different types. Good luck, hope you find the perfect dog for your family.
