It means your dog is probably resting and in a temperature that is nice for them. Watch what happens after they play or it's a little warm. By itself it is normal and the whole nose dry/warm thing is just a myth (maybe because sick dogs are not usually active). Change the temperature and activity level and you'll change the nose from warm and dry to cold and/or wet. :-). Try it, go play a game for awhile or a walk if it's safe and see what happens.
