How Many Times Did Sidney Sheldon Marry?

          Sidney Sheldon is known to have been married twice. He was married to Jorja Curtright Sheldon and Alexander Kostoff. His first wife Jorja was an actress from film and stage. She later went on to become a well known an accomplished interior designer. Sidney Sheldon was married to Jorja for 30 years.

          She died unfortunately in the year 1985 of a heart attack. Later in 1989 Sidney Sheldon married a former child actress with the name of Alexandra Kostoff. The wedding took place in Las Vegas and the actress was of Macedonian origin. Sheldon died at the age of 89 of complications related to pneumonia in Rancho Mirage's Eisenhower Medical Centre.     

          It is not known weather or not his first wife was his writing inspiration when he wrote of strong women leads in his novels. He admired the femininity in women and included it in most of his written works.
