Which Country Has Hosted The Most Olympics Games?

Answer Question

4 Answers - Sort by: Date | Rating

United States is the country that has hosted the maximum number of Olympics games. The United States has hosted the Summer Olympics four times; in St. Louis, Missouri in 1904, in Los Angeles in 1932, in Los Angeles again in 1984, and in Atlanta in 1996.

The United States of America have hosted the Winter Olympic Games for four times; in Lake Placid New York in 1932, in Squaw Valley in 1960, again in Lake Placid in 1980, and finally in Salt Lake City in 2002.
The Summer Olympics, which started in 1896, have been held after every four years except the years 1916, 1940, and 1944 due to world wars. Only Greece and Australia have the credit to have participated every Summer Olympics.
