This is a very serious issue. It is dreaded by anyone in the hotel industry to have a bedbug problem and it does happen. It is not dreaded because of fear of lawsuits. It is dreaded because it is a health issue and it can spread and very difficult to get rid of once it does. If you told anyone employed at the hotel management should have been informed immediately and the room should have been quarantined until problem could be confirmed, contained and exterminated. If this hotel did nothing then you could have damages except that you stayed. Also if they failed to quickly resolve this I can not understand how they managed to stay so famous.
