Answer Question

In the WWI, soldiers could get physical or mental illnesses. They could get trench foot from all the walking in the trench mud and puddles. They could also get fevers and flus due to spending nights out in the cold. Another illness was suffering from shellshock. This was caused by the shock from the constant firing of the cannons. Shellshock could cause depression, shivering, anxiety, concussion, paralyse, shock and getting nightmares of the war experiences.
