The caterpillar takes about five months to change into an adult. As its life span is not too long so it lives for three more months. The adults are very energetic fliers. These are very much attracted to nuts cocoabeans, chocolate goods, grains, herbs and dried. It is a bit troublesome because the when the caterpillars eat food and other things then they leave a heap of silk looking like an inflexible cobweb.
