When Does My Brest Start To Link Milk?

Answer Question

1 Answer - Sort by: Date | Rating

Milk is produced in the breast under the influence of an hormone called prolactin. Its normal levels in blood are 5-20. Whenever, these levels are high in the blood, milk is produced. During lactation, prolactin levels are high and milk is produced for baby. Stress, tumors in the pituitary glands and sexual excitement can also increase the prolactin levels which may lead to milk production. Milk production only during nursing period is normal. Other than this, is abnormal.
