There are myriad of ways to make a good resume and it depends upon the individual how innovative he is to get the job done.

Some of the aspects are common for every kind of resume which include the name, age, contact address and phone number and the prior experience if you have any. After mentioning these things, you can use your creativity to differentiate yourself in the market place.

The foremost aspect that you can highlight is that what is unique to you that can be useful for the organisation you are applying in. You can also highlight your ability in the sector as a whole so that even if you are new to the industry, they will think of you as a person who knows about the sector well.

If you apply these methods you can expect at least interview from the organisation that you are applying in.

Every time you send out your resume it must be tailored to the needs of the particular organization. Nowadays you do not need to make a resume in most cases because organizations had pre-determined formats that you need to fill.

There are certain elements that are common to all resumes.

        Name, Age, Address, Nationality
        Previous relevant work experience
        Academic background
        Extra curricular achievements
        Hobbies and Interests
        Goals in life

A resume is required because it paints a picture for the interviewer who has to take the important decision of recruiting you in a limited span on time. Most organizations employ third party agencies who conduct discreet resume checks to find out if a candidate has been lying in his resume.

A well written resume will only get you a foot in the door. Sometimes an exceedingly well written resume is a bad strategy if you cannot back it up in the interview.
