Who Or What Is The Tourist Of Death?

Shortly after 9/11, a photograph started to make its way across the internet.  It is a picture of a man standing on the observation deck of one of the World Trade Centre Towers, the date burned onto the photo os 9/11/01 and below him, heading in the direction of the Tower, low and fast, is a silver American airlines plane, moments before it crashed into the Tower, destroying it and beginning that fateful day that New York and the world will find hard to forget.

There are two stories about how the picture became released.  The first is that the tourist survived the attack and released the picture himself which seems rather far fetched.  The second is the more believable idea that the camera was found amongst the rubble and developed by some interested party and released it for potential profit or to find the tourist's family.
Given the level of the tragedy, it would be nice to believe this.

However, whilst it is quite a photo, I want you to know the photo is a man called Peter from Hungary who is slightly sick but a dab hand with photoshop, it's a complete fake for many reasons, including the fact that the observation deck wasn't open at that time of morning and that the plane is flying in the wrong direction for the attack on that particular tower.  The Tourist of Death as he has become known is now an internet phenomena.
