How Do You Remove A Tick?

Ticks can be a pain, especially in the summer when one is most prone to them. Ticks are generally harmful and plain irritants, but sometimes they are also carriers of harmful diseases. Follow the given instructions to rid yourself or your pet animal of this annoyance.

Look for the tick, which is generally hidden just under the skin, sucking on blood. Then, using a pair of precision tweezers, go as near to the head of the tick as you can manage. Be careful not to grab the tick by its body, clasp the head firmly by the tweezers and pull it out. Do not jerk out the tick, be very firm and steady. Dispose it in a safe place, like the toilet; do not simply throw it out the window.
