First off is she fixed??? If she is not then you might want to get her fixed, cats are very territorial and use their urine like dogs would, its natural for both male and female cats to urinate in different parts of "their" domain, another thing is attention, your cat may feel like it is not getting enough attention and may feel that this is one way to get attention. If you can afford it (if not already done) get her fixed, also play with her a little more then normal but don't over do it, cats are very smart and will see this as a way to get what they want also. Suggestions for new toys are laser lights are a big thing with my cat he loves to chase it around and it helps keep them in shape, also go to petco (or other pet supply shops in your area) they have these little stuffed animals on a string cost around $2or$3 tie these to the back of a chair by the seat of the chair, this gives your cat something to play with when you are not at home you will want it to be about 5 inches off of the floor. Hope that i have helped in any way possible. Brian

At 11 she may be becoming incontinent, take her to a vet for an evaluation, there may also be an infection, sick cats tent to eliminate away feom usual places if something is wrong with them.

My blue point Siamese just turned 10 the end of December. He is in perfect health. We had a friend of my daughters staying here a few weeks while her new house was getting ready to move into. The young lady is 18-years-old. We also have two other Siamese. Our blue point spent a lot of time with the 18-year-old. Now since she has moved out he is urinating throughout the house which is something he NEVER did before. He wet the mat in front of the shower. Had to throw that out. Bought a new mat and he did it again. Now we can't leave the mat down. He has wet the bed she slept in twice and now I have to leave that bedroom door closed. Then one night, in the middle of the night, he wet my bed. He is my cat and we are very close and he has always slept with me each night. Now I have to keep my door closed. And twice he wet a rug in our playroom. Had to throw each rug out. What can I do to stop this behavior? My cat was spayed when he was a kitten.
