      The language used for the coding of the web documents is usually referred as hyper text markup language and its acronym is HTML.The text format or the language coding method is usually referred as tags, these tags are just like the commands, we write in the DOS prompt.

      At the back end of each and every browser, html tags are used.
      The tags are usually within the two brackets. There are tags for formatting text (italic, bold, emphasize, underlined), also there are tags for the bullets, for web linking.The start of the html coding is and end of coding must be . It means that when we start any code then must end it with the back slash enclosed brackets.There are specific tags for each and every condition for example for the heading, the H1 to H5 tags are used. For the paragraph

      tag is used.

      There are many software, with the help of which we don't need to remember the html tags we just make our graphics and, its coding is made automatically at its back side.
      For example in the macromedia dream weaver we don't have to learn html codes, we just make our web page and its coding is making at back end.

        I don't know what the first guy/girl was talking about. Tags make up the HTML language. A html page consists of tags which contain text to be displayed on a page. They determine how the text is to be displayed. These tags appear between opening and closing symbols > ... <. There are many types of tags in the HTML language .

        html = container for whole document
        head = container for the head section
        body = container for the body
        h1,h2,h3 = contain headings
        b = bold etc.

        Here's an example of the HTML to display a bold line, <b>this is a bold line</b>.

        To view animations, movies or sounds we need to equip our system with helper programs and plug-ins which step in to handle the different multimedia data types that our browser can not handle on its own. Although Internet Explorer can handle certain multimedia formats natively but there are just too many types of multimedia objects out there. So the browser needs help to properly display the different multimedia objects.

        A Helper program is an accessory program, such as a movie player that your browser starts when it encounters data of certain type, whereas a pug-in is an add-on program that expands your browser's capabilities, enabling it to deal with specific types of multimedia.
        Of the two, plug-in is clearly superior. A helper program starts in its own, separate window, creating an unwelcome and distracting gulf between the web page you are viewing and the multimedia object that's being played. In contrast, plug-ins lets your browser display multimedia object inline, i.e. No separate pop up window appears and in the middle of the web page you are viewing the multimedia file is displayed.

        Helper programs are separate applications that can run without a browser too. When the browser encounters certain data type which it can not understand, it looks for helper program. The browser starts the appropriate helper program by looking at the file's extensions, after the file name; there is a standard list of such extensions that link each of the helper programs with the particular data type. Now the Plug-Ins on the other hand are not designed to run on their own. After installation their code becomes a part of the browser code and it expands the capabilities of the browser and your browser will deal with the data type which the installed plug-in supports.
