The first and the original city called 'Orleans' is in France, Europe. It's a small city with a population of about a hundred and thirteen thousand, situated just an hour away from Paris. It's also a city associated with 'Joan of Arc' and famous for it's Cathedrals and Castles.
Another town with the name 'Orleans' is situated in Massachusetts, USA. It's a small town on the Atlantic coast and it's more of a fishing town and tourist center for summer visitors.
'New Orleans', is another city with a similar name and is situated in Louisiana, USA. Famous for it's 'Mardi Gras' carnival and Jazz Music and Musicians. It's Cajun cooking is influenced by the French, as is its culture. Prone to hurricanes, it was devastated by one in 2005, when more than 275,000 houses were destroyed.
