Yes, they are because they feed on small insects, meat or the bones according to the availability. They do not eat only meat but they also enjoy fur, bones or the feathers of different animals. Many of these animals feed on whole mice etc along with the raw animal protein that can be gained from chicken, mutton etc. one of the most important thing that make the metabolism process of these animals really fast are the small kittens because they are rich of the proteins and fats. But this thing again varies from specie to specie and environment to environment.

The preferred food for these animals is the food that contains at least thirty two and at most thirty eight percent of protein. As far as fats are concerned, their food may have at least fifteen percent and at most twenty percent of fats. The grain based foods can not be properly digested by these animals though they are rich in proteins. They also like to have sweet food like the raisins or the bananas etc but the raisins must not be given in large amount.
