"Thief of Dreams" was written by the famous author called Mary Balogh. This book was in print in the year 1998. This was the second book penned by Mary Balogh to be published in the same year.
This story is about the beautiful Cassandra Havelock, she is the Countess of Worthing. She had always wanted to be free in her life and wanted to make her own decision without depending on others, so she eagerly awaited her 21st birthday. The day came when she would be independent. She was very happy. At the party, an attractive stranger approached her stating that he is a friend of her father. She is confused as she has never seen this man before. The man has already succeeded in winning her heart. She comes to know later about the fact that she had been duped.
