Ferret Lose. How Do I Convince Them Into Taking MY Ferrets Back?

I have 2 ferrets, male and female, both fixed, boy is big foot and girl is little foot and I'm 11. Well, my mom and dad always complained about how they stink and how it would stink up the whole room. So my mom gave them away to her worker and i was crying ever since they left. And I'm asking is that how do i convince them into taking MY ferrets back? ♥♥♥♥♥ thnx

Did your parents agree to letting you get the ferrets in the first place? If so, it is irresponsible for them to have given them away. It teaches you a bad lesson in responsibility (not your fault) it says that it doesn't matter if you agree to take care of something, if you change your mind, just get rid of it. Ask them if that is the kind of lesson they were trying to teach you, and if they would like it if you were to have that kind of attitude towards all pets you have in the future. What about your children? Babies smell (well, their diapers do, at least) so if you have a child, once it makes a mess in his or her diaper, you should immediately put it up for adoption? That is obviously ridiculous and hopefully your parents will realize that an animal is not just a toy that can be disposed of whenever they want. A second option for you is simply compromising with them saying that you will just get one ferret (to reduce the smell) and will clean the cage more often, also, pet stores have really good deodorizers that are safe to be in close proximity to pets. Good luck hun. I really hope your parents listen to you, I know it's hard when you're young.
