What Is Manifest Destiny?

'Manifest destiny' is a political philosophy that is widespread among then American statesman and also among the business leaders that were present in the nineteenth century. The philosophy said that it was the United States that had the right to conquer the continent of North America and would spread its wing right from the Atlantic Ocean to the Pacific Ocean. They believed that the expansion would bring liberty to the whole continent and it was the moral obligation of the United States to expand the area that is under freedom rule and it helped the great mass of land from going under the rule of the people who can be considered as tyrant.
        
Though the philosophy is obsolete nowadays, you can find people who act as if they are living in the nineteenth century.
