Do I Use My DSL To Connect To The Internet Through A LAN?

I am new to blurtit and thought this would be a good place to find an answer to this question.

    Yes you can use DSL on LAN and connect to the Internet. You need proxy server to install on the computer which runs DSL. This way all the computer on the network can use Internet facility.

      If you have a 'network' or 'Ethernet' cable going to a router, this is the LAN bit.  The DSL bit is on your broadband line, and is a term for the broadband signal over the telephone line.

      If you work through wireless, this is also a type of LAN, known as WLAN.
