Why Does Most Fish Swim In Salt Water?

Answer Question

1 Answer - Sort by: Date | Rating

The ocean is the birthplace of life on this planet. Most of the fresh water fish cam from the ocean, when they became landlocked during the continental shifts. There are also theories that some fish may have also been born by getting lifted, as eggs, by evaporation. Another way is by salt water fish traveling up stream, and beginning a new life and species of fish.
