    How Long Does It Take To Get A Visa Approved In Hong Kong If Wanting To Visit China? I Am Coming FromTaiwan And Told I Must Get It There. Does It Take More Than One Day?

    I am planning a sort visit to Shanghai and need to get a visit from the consulate in Hong Kong. How long will that take?

    I went to HK in 2005 and needed to travel to China. It took a week before they issued the visa, but it's for a multile entry. I'm not sure about the procedure recently, but you can take a chance, who knows, it might be faster nowadays! Good luck!
