The word "chi" can refer to a number of things. Chi can refer to a Greek alphabet, the twenty second alphabet to be precise. It is denoted with the symbol "X". It is written as a large X for upper case and a smaller one for the lower case. Chi can also be referring to Thailand's longest river that flows nearly seven hundred and sixty five kilometres. Even though tit is the longest in Thailand it carries a lesser amount of water than "Mun" which is the second longest there.

The name Chi is also used as a nickname for the city of Chicago in America. Chi is also the name of an African American actor, Chi McBride. As a name it is believed to be of African origin and in Nigeria is supposed to be the name of God.
