Right off, Glasgow is full of famous landmarks, it's a beautiful city with lots to see and do.  Despite the hangover of the era of tough men and violence, Glasgow is a safe place which is being updated and modernised but keeping the historical charm.

Of course, the SECC or Glasgow Armadillo is a famous landmark, this conference and concert hall looks a bit like an Armadillo.

There is the Science Centre, with its very tall look out tower.

There is also George's Square, a major square in Glasgow, which is dedicated to King George III (he of the madness).

Other land marks include the tallest cinema in the world on Renfrew Street.

The University buildinds, beautiful and gothic looking are major landmarks, as well as the many church towers of the city.

The Glasgow Cathedral and Necropolis (city of the dead) is also a major landmark and very beautiful buildings.
