Alot of dryness itching redness do not use neosporin and do not itch the tattoo if u think it could possibly be infected, be sure to keep it moist and out of the sun and do not pick the scabs they will fall off in the shower i would recommend these products called tattoo soap and tattoo goo u can get these at a tattoo shop easily wash the infected area with the tattoo soap, its basically a mild antibacterial soap with moisturizers works very well, then use the tattoo goo to moisten the tattoo and to protect if from further infections,discoloring or fading,i repeat do not use neosporin it will cause the ink to leak out of the tattoo, i am a licenced professional tattoo artist ive been drawing since i was 2or3 and ive been doing tattoos now for 13 years ive done thousands and thousands of tattoos im asked your same question so im glad to help
