What Religion Do You Think Is The Closest To Ruling The World?

Religion seems to be on the wane everywhere except the places where people have a rather dreary existence.  Maybe the meek will inherit the earth.  I don't think anyone will end ignorance, poverty, and hunger so I suppose it depends on if these people experience so many natural disasters
that the population growth is curtailed.  Those people are predominately muslim.

The Muslim population of the world is around one billion. 30% of Muslims live in the Indian subcontinent, 20% in Sub-Saharan Africa, 17% in Southeast Asia, 18% in the Arab World, 10% in the Soviet Union and China. Turkey, Iran and Afghanistan comprise 10% of the non-Arab Middle East. Although there are Muslim minorities in almost every area, including Latin America and Australia, they are most numerous in the Soviet Union, India, and central Africa. There are 5 million Muslims in the United States.

IMHO secular humamists will rule because they won't be battling imaginary demons and therfore will be able to focus their energies more effectively.

The world is ruled by the secular or the non religious, at over 2 billion, Christians dominate the religious world because the majority are in developed nations(rich),while the majority of Islamist (1.5 billion)are in backwards undeveloped nations(poor).Christianity is a religion of freedom, while Islam is a religion of dominance. While Christianity gives its followers the freedom to choose, Islam forces a single belief through fear. People will only stand fear til they see there are options. That is why Christian extremist fail and Islamic extremist succed. Freedom vs. Fear. People are to smart to ever let the world be dominated by fear. Freedom will always win, it always has.

It is catholics as they are probably the richest, biggest, strongest and widest in all round the world

In America most would probably say catholic but i believe Muslim has the most members in the world. So i would say Muslim.

HMMM good question with out looking up any stats my gut tells me it might be in the future it could be radical evangelical Christianity don't think humanist because ever one has personal demons they want to exercise and will be looking for an answer and a way to do so just a thought.

In my opinion and not looking up for the stats, I think that muslims extremists will win because of the fear they bring to their followers.  There is a town in Europe that pass a law ( I can't remember the town's name and my professor told us about this), That every women in that particular town has to wear burkas or they can not go out.  I also believe that one day we will have one here in the U.S. Because our government will want to keep the peace between our country and theirs.  Please prove me wrong, but its just this gut feeling.  Already most of our companies are doing businesses overseas and we do more importing goods than we are exporting and with this thing with InBev and Anheiserbush we are losing our lands to overseas companies.

Well if you want to talk about religion...you need to read the KJV Bible and it's something that no one else has mentioned...if you think about it everyone in this world has a god and is religious in some way or another....even a cow is religious...religion is something you have faith in or security in...you see a cow is religious to it's food because that is all that a cow does is stand there and eat...so if you want to talk about the RULER of the world...well that clearly is SATAN himself....because you see Jesus himself said that Satan is the ruler of this world...don't believe me read the kjv Bible....Not everyone that professes that they believe in God...the true God...will go to heaven...and the sad thing is...is that many of you reading this will laugh or argue with me about the facts...but even historians and scientist and geologist will tell you that the Holy Bible is the oldest manuscript in the world....why? Because God has put his hand on it and preserved it through out history...You see America needs to go back and take another history lesson and realize that America was founded on the religious beliefs of our for fathers and get rid of the garbage and trash that others have brought into this country...You see even George Washington spent the most of his time in office down on his knees crying out to God Almighty for direction for his life and for his country...but it's sad to say that America has drifted so far from God...but the Bible says any nation that forgets God will be cast into hell!!!!  The sad part is though when something drastic happens in America that's when we look to God and say where were you at...and that's when God looks at America and says you wouldn't let me in!!!!  So yes in conclusion Satan is the god and the ruler of this world and it will get even worse than this but I am glad to say I know who is in control of it all...and when the smoke clears and the battle is over you won't see any Muslims or buddhist or Mormons or any other religion standing tall and raising their banner high in the air for victory...no you won't see them...but you will see those that are bought by the blood of the Lamb of Jesus Christ the true King...the only person in history that rose from the dead on his own will after being buried for 3 days and then he ascended to his father and he now sits on the right hand of God making intersession for us...and one day will all crown him KING OF KINGS AND LORD OF LORDS....whether you confess it or not down on this earth one day will come where you will bow down and confess the true son of God!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
