I will certainly invite you to be my friend.  But you can also look for people to invite yourself by looking up questions in categories in which you have interest and clicking on the avatars of Blurters you think you might like to know.  You can then invite them to be friends with you.

A far as attracting some Blurter friends goes, a little more info about yourself in your profile would probably go a long way.  There is no need to reveal your real name if you do not wish:  I do not do that myself.  Just tell us a little bit about yourself and it makes it much easier for us to tell what you are like as a person and that much more likely that a number of us will want to be friends with you.
