Are There Other Galaxies Like Ours In The Universe?

Answer Question

1 Answer - Sort by: Date | Rating

I truly believe that not only are there more galaxies, but more universes. Why should only one big bang occur in creating our universe and where did the materials come from to create that big bang. Gases must come from somewhere . I sometimes think our universe is like a single cell with us as its nucleus. Perhaps we are only one of millions of cells making a greater body. Who knows, maybe the greater sum of all these universal cells is god himself. :)

Too much information. The answer is "Yes". Our galaxy, called the Milky Way galaxy is a Spiral type galaxy. There are many of this type. One that many have heard of is Messier 31, also known as the Andromeda galaxy.
