Sounds like a blocked bile duct.
This happened to me last year. I had my gallbladder taken out 5 years prior and right after had to have a stone removed from my duct. After that procedure they put in a stint which was supposed to pass but never did. Then fast forward to last year. I had all the symptoms you have and the doctors had initially said that it must be another stone blocking the bile duct, but it was that damned stint along with some stones. My bet is blocked bile duct.... Which could be helped with an ercp if it's just in the duct or a lap-coli... But if you can avoid having your gallbladder removed  you will be better off. Ask your doctor if lithotripsy is available to take care of any stones in the gallbladder (if you have them in there). Gallbladder removal comes with many after effects that you will have to live with for the rest of your life..  Either chronic diarrhea or GERD or sometimes both when eating spicy, salty, or fatty foods. Boo!!

      Good luck!
