What Are The Different Types Of Security Technology Used In Retail Stores?

The type of specific security cameras in any retail store depends on what type of product the store carries and if they have complete control over their security, i.e. Stand alone shops vs. A store in a mall.

I would say the majority of retail stores use a combination of high tech security cameras and dummy cameras (that have the appearance of looking real to deter any theft). Many that I've seen opt for the dome camera and/or one that has motion sensors. In retail stores, they probably choose more basic cameras that provide just a clear picture, as they don't really need additional features such as sound, high range recognition, color pictures, waterproof, etc.
