Yes Cheques are easily traceable. When you submit a cheque, It has bank's branch name and Cheque number on it. And, with that information it can be known on whose name Cheque is issued and address can be located from bank. Also, Cheques can be easily located in sense i.e., from where the amount is transferred or to where amount is transferred. Therefore, with Cheques both the location and amount of money transferred and the person whose Cheque it was can be easily traced.
