What Does Centring Mean?

Answer Question

1 Answer - Sort by: Date | Rating

Centring is defined as the position of the design on a stamp in relation to its margins or borders. Assuming that the stamp is not torn or damaged, centring is a very important factor that influences the condition and value of the stamp.

Centring is a temporary structure or falsework which is constructed during the construction of an arch. The purpose of the centring is to support the arch when the work of construction is in progress, so that it does not fall and injure the labourers involved in the work of constructing the arch. The centring is removed from the arch when the construction is over and when the arch can support itself.

Centring is the result of the limitations or differences in the design in the process of manufacturing. It also refers to a disparity or difference in the output of voltage. Centring is a technique in meditation where the energies of a person are grounded through meditation. This is often done before performing a ritual. It helps the person to focus and improves his concentration by harnessing and directing all the balanced energies of the person towards a proper channel.
