What Is The Difference Between Line And Staff Supervisors?

Answer Question

1 Answer - Sort by: Date | Rating

A supervisor is an individual who keeps a check on employees or on end-products. The supervisor who controls and monitors the performance of the junior employees of the staff is known as staff supervisor. On the other hand, the supervisor who controls the production or the core operation of the business is known as line supervisor. In the case of a service company like a restaurant, a staff supervisor will control the internal operations of the staff like work of cleaning staff, cooking staff etc. On the other hand, the line supervisor will control and monitor the activities, at the spot where the services will be being delivered.
