    Old Aberdeen is a part of the city 'Aberdeen'. Aberdeen city is in Scotland. It is the third largest city of Scotland. It has large population.

    Aberdeen city is popular as 'Silver City' or 'Granite City'. It is also known as the 'Chief Commercial Centre' and the 'Seaport' on the North –East side of Scotland.

    Old Aberdeen was a separate part of Aberdeen city and afterwards it was incorporated into adjacent Aberdeen. It was on the North side of Aberdeen city and was isolated at the edge of the city.

    The 'University of Aberdeen' comes in the area of old Aberdeen. There are many historic buildings in old Aberdeen. The area of old Aberdeen also includes a small police station, a bank, a pub, a bakery and Post Office.

    It also includes the buildings of 'St. Machar's Cathedral' and 'King's College'. It has the
    'Brig o' Balgownie' bridge that is Scotland's oldest surviving bridge. This bridge was constructed in 14th Century.
