Why Is Hobbit So Important To Read If You Want To Start Reading The Lord Of The Rings Trilogy?

Answer Question

1 Answer - Sort by: Date | Rating

The Hobbit is important because it plays major role in the story "The Lord of the Rings". The writer describes the hobbits as a separate race of men. Hobbits generally appear to be around two to four feet in height, with their average height being around three feet six inches. They tend to be stout and their ears are somewhat pointed.

Their feet are generally furry and have leather soles hence most of the hobbits never wear shoes. They basically live a conservative life which mostly has activities like farming, eating and socialising. The average age of a hobbit is said to be around hundred years and some of them can live up to one thirty years. A young hobbit generally "comes of age" at thirty three. Hobbits consume plain food like bread, meat and cheese and mostly drink beer.
