    Eating food high in fat leads to a lot of problem but this depends on the constitution, lifestyle and the type of fat one chooses. Too much fat easily leads to excess weight, increases the risk of illness. Too much of unsaturated fat is a strong risk factor for heart disease and stroke, fat supplies approximately 9 calories per gram compared to 4 calorie per gram of protein or carbohydrate. The excess calories are also stored in the body as fat. For those who want to lose weight, eating less fat reduces the calorie intake without losing necessary nutrients.
    Effects of fat can vary from one person to another. It is advised to reduce the intake of saturated fat. Generally, the more the solid a fat is at room temperature, the higher the level of saturated and Trans fatty acids. Nutritional experts believe that reducing the intake, from the typical present level of 40% of total calories to 30%-35%, be eating less saturated and Trans fatty acids makes a substantial difference.
    For a woman eating about 180 calories a day mean reducing fat intake from 80 grams a day to 60 grams approximately. For a man eating 2400 calories a day mean reducing fat from 106g to 80-90 grams approximately.
