The book 'Worlds in Collision' was published in the year of 1950. The author was Immanuel Velikovsky. He was a Russian by his birth source. Immanuel was born on 10th of June in the year of 1895 at Vitebsk in Russia. But he was a United States base writer. Immanuel received his degree first from the Moscow University. He also got a degree from the Edinburgh University later.
Immanuel changed his location and finally turned to the United States in the year of 1939. 'Worlds in Collision' was the first book from the writer, Immanuel. It came out in the year of 1950. It was basically a hypothetical subject. In that book he hypothesized and relied upon legends of the ancient people. He collected different legends from different territory and civilization. With a thorough research with those famous legends of ancient people, he hypothesized that the Mars and the Venus had come near the Earth very closely in the year of 1500s B.C or 15th century B.C. Due to this reason the Earth's rotation was disturbed. The inclination of the earth was also axed. In his theory, due to that incident a magnetic field was occurred. After researching with these matters Immanuel argued his hypothetical thoughts in the book.
Astronomers around the world widely discredited the subject of the 'Worlds in Collision'. Immanuel's publisher was threatened an impose sanctions by the scientists of United States for the publication of the book of 'Worlds in Collision'. His hypothetical theory turned him into the controversy and the publication of the book was stopped.
His later works were also controversial. He wrote about more hypothetical and controversial theories about the history of the ancient age as well as catastrophic occurrences. Immanuel was died on 17th of November in the year of 1979 in United States.
