Why Would My 5 Month Old Cat Start Peeing Everywhere Except In The Litter Box?

My 5 month old cat started out great, he used the litter pan like he was an old pro, we got him fixed and suddenly he wants to pee everywhere but the litter box, including on my bed. Is this normal for male cats? Or am I going to need to find him a new home?

A simple urinary tract infection can cause inappropriate urination.  The first step is to have him examined by a veterinarian to make sure there is not a medical cause for the inappropriate urination.
Male cats can also have a sterile cystitis (non-infectious inflammation of the bladder).  This is usually due to stress and can also cause inappropriate urination.  Stress in cats can be as simple as moving furniture, new addition to the household, or a new routine.
Before giving your cat away make sure it is not a medical problem that can be fixed--if not then your veterinarian can help you with environmental changes and medical management for sterile cystitis.

It seems like he does not feel comfortable over there .Psychology of animals are very important to understand in their upbringing. It might have seen some fearful thing in the present home. So you can change its place so it start moving there .Conditioning works with some incentive and can also be helpful in this case.
