Basically a personal mission statement should focus on your energy, behavior and goals. It should highlight what you want to accomplish finally. Some tips which can help you in making a good personal mission statement are as follows:
It should be very simple and brief (usually 3 to 5 short sentences). It should highlight your habits, qualities and behaviors. It should give positive aspects of your personality. Instead of focusing on what you do not want, you should focus on what you want in the next two to three years. It should give your positive traits and values. It should relate your actions, behaviors and habits. A personal mission statement should be a guideline for motivating you and at the same time, it should also help you in your regular decisions. Moreover, it should be inspiring and appealing because it is the depiction of your personality and a positive view of your future.
