How Do I Get My 8 Month Old Husky To Stop Licking Everybody?
She continues to lick everyone and everything as she believes she is a lapdog at 45 pounds

You have to keep in mind it is a dog, not a person. Our sense of right is not theirs. Our social behavior is not theirs. Not only that he is only 8 months old. He may look a lot bigger than a puppy but basically is still a pup. Ever watch a baby? EVERYTHING goes into the mouth, why? It is the one of the most sensitive parts of the body. Same with your puppy, except it is his only way to touch, feel, and taste it means everything for him, next to of course his nose (which if you watch he smells everything too). He is investigating the world with the best tool he has. He needs training and discipline to teach him right from wrong. If he is licking when he shouldn't (or many other behaviors) give him a stern "NO!", you can also grab his muzzle and look into his eyes when you do, or a light, A LIGHT swat on the nose (in case he thinks you are playing) and repeat no if he does. Then follow it with the action that was wrong, "NO! Bad *name* no lick!", then ignore him until he is not performing that action. Once he is not doing the "bad" action, make sure to give him lots of praise for being a good dog and maybe even play a little tug-o-war with him. Realize though that this is how dogs are going to show you affection, you have to let him show you his love, just like you must show him how much you love her.

The best thing for that is training. One way is to get professional help. The other way is let her go out and meet people but make her sit first before they pet her, if she gets up from the sit make them pull their hand away, tell her no and try again until she actually does it. Then give her a treat and tell her good girl! Then after that all you can do is keep on meeting people until she knows right from wrong.
