Doctors say that when you are 5 feet to 5'11 you multiply your weight by five. So if you are 5'1 then you would say 5 times 1 is 5 so that would lead you to 105. If your are 5'2 then you multiply it by five and say the right weight would be 110 pounds. But everyone is built different. Some people are built petite and others are built strong. It really depends.

Your perfectly normal when people say your bmi is 25.5 that could be true but a bmi schart for an adult is different from a kids bmi chart. Look im 12 about to be 13 in a month 5'5 and i weigh 135 i am very concerned about my weight my mom even calls me fat but dont be like me DONT STARVE YOURSELF!!!! If you do starve yourself than you can end up eating more because you just give up, but if it gets to a certain point where you dont give up you will shwivel away like the wind. Tips: Situps make your stomach flat and they also get rid off love handels/ put peanut butter on apples and have that as your snack it might sound disgusting but it's delicious and super healthy.  You should also never eat less than 1200 calories because then you wont get enough of the nutrients. Hope this helps dont worry your not fat weight is in a range of normal.

Hey, I basically agree that you aren't overweight... At thirteen your still growing and developing. Don't go on a diet, just make sure your have good eating/exercise habits that you can take into your later life. *good eating habits does not mean over control* When I was eleven (I'm fourteen now) I started watching everything I ate, slashing calories wherever I could, and compulsively exercising. I was about average weight and then I lost twenty pounds in the course of two months. This sounds great in a perverse mind state... But it wasn't, I went over the top.  Luckily, my mom talked to me and told me I was doing something dangerous. Gaining the weight back was painful, my metabolism had slowed down and I was constantly bloated. Even though I 'recovered' (basically I still eat freakishly much or little but am at a 'normal' weight) my growth was still stunted, my stomach is still highly irritable, I developed lactose intolerance, I bloat easily, and I've developed a series of odd/secretive eating behaviors. I'm trying to eat normally again :D

*sorry for the monologue, I never talk about it so I don't know why I did now*

I'm thirteen and i weigh 93 pounds. I am chunky in a few areas though. You can easily lose the weight by exercising like on the wii fit or something. You need self confidence though. First believe your not fat!

No, ur average i think...but it doesn't matter if bmi says ur over weight...it all matters on muscle and dont try to loose weight...try to tone in areas that might be the place you have 2 work on...maybe even ask your doctor but what ever you do, do not be intimidated, be happy for who you are!

Well you didn't say if your a boy or girl. If your a boy usually if your athletic you have a lot of muscle because muscle weighs 3 times more than fat. I'm 13 as well and I'm a boy, I'm 5'6'' and i 150 pounds but I'm not fat at all.
I have a lot of muscle because i  work out everyday and run about a mile everyday. It also has to do with your bone structure also i have dense bones so they weigh more and dense bones are stronger and aren't easily broken.

            I'm 20, 5'5 and i weigh 135 lbs.
When i was 13 though i weighed about 140 and i was probably 5'3. I gained a lot of weight before i had my growth spurt.
            Also it
            Depends on your build.

            Your 'Bmi' is 25.5..
Which is in the overweight range.

Doesn't account for build or muscle though..
