What Are The Results Of Inadequate Carbohydrate Intake?

Answer Question

1 Answer - Sort by: Date | Rating

Lack of carbohydrates can result in  the body lacking glucose and having to obtain energy from other sources. Benign ketosis, loss of sodium, and breakdown of protein can occur as the body takes fat and protein and breaks them down for energy when glucose is unavailable.
