How Safe Is To Patent An Idea?

Safe as in what? Are you afraid that somebody will steal your idea? Let me tell you this: if your idea really is good and innovative and useful, people will most likely take your idea, alter it a little bit and then use it.

Even if you had a patent on it: what are you going to do? Take them all to court? Unless you have thousands of dollars to spare for court cases, you won't be able to make any profit out of your idea.

By the way: a patent always has to be in writing and is also published. This means: once you file for a patent, everyone can read the details of the patent.
