Beer Batter Recipe For Frying Tripe?

    2/3 cup all-purpose flour
    1 tsp. Salt
    1/2 tsp. Baking powder
    1/2 cup beer
    1 egg
    1 tbsp. Vegetable oil

    Whisk flour, salt and baking powder in a mixing bowl. Separately, whisk beer, egg, and oil. Gradually add the wet mixture to the dry mixture, stirring until there are no lumps. Dip foods into batter and fry in hot oil (350°F) until it is golden and crispy. Drain foods on paper toweling or a brown bag. Serve hot.
    Will do 1 pound of fish, shrimp or onion rings, etc.
