    Lambourn is tiny market town and civil parish located in the north-western curve of the traditional county of Berkshire in England. It is quiet famous for its links with the British racehorse training.

    Lambourn is situated on the grid reference SU326789. The town is positioned in the valley of River Lambourn. It is placed on B4000 from Newbury to Highworth and the adjacent valley road straight to Lambourn. The street subsequent to the Lambourn valley in the direction of Newburn was earlier known as B4000 until the M4 motorway was built in early 1970s.

    Lambourn economy to some extent is based on horse racing, there are around 1,500 racehorses located in this valley hence this region is commonly referred to as "Valley of the Racehorse". The livelihood of many villagers in this region is based on horse racing.
