Judging from what you have told me concerning hair color, skin, and eyes, first thing is; since you have recently colored your hair, it takes a while for that color to fade out. So it would be difficult to lighten your hair on up to dark blonde at this time unless you went to a professional stylist. But, according to your skin tone, I don't think that dark blonde would look very well. The chestnut that you have already put into your hair is a very warming color and looks quite well with ivory colored skin and your dark eyes. Sending a picture really wouldn't help me to determine which season you are. Coloring in pictures doesn't really show your true skin shade. You need to go to an upscale mall and see the expert at the cosmetic counter so that he or she can get an actual up close look at your skin tone for a more precise evaluation. They do not charge for this service because the company they work for pays them to cater to their clients. But still, after all that being said, I can tell you that you would probably look great in blues, also teal would look really nice with your chestnut hair and skin color.I would stay away from bright reds because they will clash with your hair color. Darker reds and burgundy colored clothing would be okay. Hope I have helped you.

I recently purchased Clairols premium creme demi permanente developer and the cool blue mix tones and I just realized I have no idea how to mix the two, how much i will need for my semi-long, curly coarse hair, or even if i need to apply it to dry or damped hair... Is there any help you can give me?

Apply the color to dry hair. Did you purchase from a store or beauty supply? If you purchased from the store, mix entire contents of the developer and color together. If you purchased the developer separate from the color. Mix 2 and 1/2 ounces of developer with the bottle/tube of color if the color is for one application only. Since your hair is semi-long, you will need one entire application..
